Our beautiful Grade II listed house provides the perfect setting for a whole variety of events, with indoor and outdoor facilities. We have a ‘secret’ walled garden dining room that seats 100 and beautiful grounds featuring our unique Victorian turning house. Our venue also benefits from:

• Seven luxurious en-suite double bedrooms, with one accessible on the ground floor.

Guests are free to roam the grounds at their own leisure and will be entirely supported by our staff, ensuring your day goes as smoothly as possible.

Will we have sole use of Stockton House for our event?

Yes, exclusive venue hire means that only you and your guests will have access to the entire grounds at Stockton House. No other event or group will be permitted on our grounds during the scheduled time, giving your party full freedom and privacy to enjoy the venue and our services.

Which areas of the house and grounds are included in exclusive hire?

When opting for exclusive hire of Stockton House, you will gain full access to our grounds, including our beautiful outdoor garden and terraces, a Grade II listed building, dining rooms, reception area, and secret walled garden dining room. You and your guests are entirely free to explore the grounds at your own pleasure, with full privacy and flexibility to use the space how you wish.

What types of events can be hosted with exclusive hire?

Stockton House can be used for a wide variety of events when you choose exclusive hire. From weddings to corporate events, you and your guests will gain full access to the grounds, offering you the flexibility to customise and use the grounds how you wish. Whether it be grand celebration dinners or a large get-together, our team will work alongside you to help you get the most use out of our entire space.

What is the maximum guest capacity?

This depends on the area you wish to use. Our secret walled garden dining area can comfortably seat up to 100 guests for formal dinners or receptions, or 120 standing guests for evening celebrations. Our Secret Walled Garden Dining Room (used typically for corporate events) can host up to 100 guests. If you are planning an event that includes a large group, our team will be more than happy to guide you through your best options to get the best use out of the venue.

Are there different spaces for daytime and evening events?

Yes, absolutely. Our entire estate offers a variety of areas designed for hosting daytime and evening events. The indoor and outdoor areas can easily be tailored to meet the needs of your group, whether it be a daytime celebration that extends into the late hours, or an afternoon meeting for you and your colleagues. Our grounds can easily accommodate yours and your guests' needs, whatever the time of day.

What catering options are available for exclusive hire events?
